Role overview
The purpose of this position is to play a supporting role in crafting and implementing B2B, SaaS SEO strategies. You’ll support on-page SEO, technical SEO, content optimization, CRO, backlinking, and performance reporting across our website, blog, and other domains. Since this is a junior-level position, you do need a fundamental understanding of how search works, some hands-on experience with core SEO tasks, and familiarity with modern AI-driven search (AEO and GEO). You’ll work closely with the SEO Manager and Marketing Team to execute audits, implement fixes, and scale content that converts.

You’ll work closely with the SEO Manager and Marketing Team to execute audits, implement fixes, and scale content that converts.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform website & blog technical SEO audits (crawlability, indexability, site speed, structured data) and monitor site health; track and validate fixes.
- Ensure XML sitemap, HTML sitemap, and robots.txt are correct and maintained.
- Conduct keyword research and build master keyword lists; map queries to pages.
- Execute on-page SEO: title tags, meta descriptions, headings, canonical tags, schema, and internal linking.
- Identify improvements in site structure, internal linking, and content; implement or raise issues for fixes.
- Work on non-performing pages and blog posts to improve organic visibility and engagement.
- Optimize content for AI visibility: craft clear, direct answers and structured data for AEO and GEO.
- Ensure content is authoritative and citable by AI tools (LLMs, Google AI Overviews, ChatGPT, Gemini etc.)
- Help automate recurring SEO tasks using AI agents.
- Discover and evaluate organic competitors; produce competitor gap analysis.
- Run content audits, suggest blog topics and content updates, and regularly refresh existing content.
- Perform landing page audits and recommend improvements for SEO and conversions.
- Optimize and maintain pages for the USA, UAE, and domestic (India) markets: ensure location-specific content, correct targeting, and proper implementation of geographic signals.
- Manage WordPress tasks: page design basics, posting blogs, technical understanding, and use of Yoast plugin.
- Use Google Tag Manager to implement and maintain tracking tags and events.
- Execute backlink and off-page SEO: guest post submissions, outreach to backlink prospects, and backlink acquisition via various methods.
- Track and analyze Zoho heatmaps, update CTAs, maintain lead forms, and track lead sources for CRO.
- Monitor organic performance and KPIs; prepare weekly and monthly reports.
- Track keyword rankings and website/blog traffic data; present insights and action items.
Must-have skills & experience
- 4 years SEO experience in SaaS product or in-house marketing team.
- Solid understanding of technical SEO: crawling, indexing, canonicalization, hreflang, structured data.
- Proven experience with keyword research, on-page SEO, and working on non-performing pages.
- Experience conducting full website/blog technical audits and monitoring site health.
- Experience maintaining sitemap files and robots.txt.
- Hands-on with SEMrush, GA4, Google Search Console, & Screaming Frog.
- Strong experience with WordPress: posting blogs, page design, and Yoast plugin.
- Working knowledge of Google Tag Manager.
- Experience with backlink outreach, guest posting, and off-page link building tactics.
- Content skills: content audits, topic ideation, content updates, and proofreading.
- CRO experience: optimizing pages for conversion, analyzing heatmaps, updating CTAs, and tracking lead forms.
- Understanding of AI search trends: AI agents, AEO, and GEO.
- Actively use AI tools for day-to-day SEO tasks.
- Familiar with Google algorithms and how updates affect rankings.
- Experience working with multi-region pages and basic international SEO.
- Working knowledge of MS Excel and Google Sheets (formulas, filtering, pivot basics).
- Comfortable working with engineering/product teams and raising/validating issues.
- Data-driven mindset, strong analytical skills, and attention to detail.
